Skulls and crossbones have never belonged to just one world. They've long been used as symbols of danger, defiance, and fighting spirit. The Jolly Roger has its own place in military history, including the Royal Navy submarine tradition of flying one after successful combat patrols.

Then there's rock & roll. Skulls became an unmistakable part of the visual language of hard rock and heavy metal, especially during the 1980s—plastered across album art, concert posters, tour shirts, and just about anything else that could be turned up to eleven.

Both influences run through Hoolie.
